The Beautiful Website Company Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all website design and build services provided by Amanda Newell trading as The Beautiful Website Company. By agreeing to work together you are accepting these terms.

Packages and Pricing

Current package prices are as stated on the website at the time of agreement. The Foundation Package includes no custom graphics. The Standard Package includes three bespoke graphic elements. Any additional graphics beyond those included in your package are charged as add-ons at the rate stated on the website.

Payment

50% of the agreed fee is due before work commences. The remaining 50% is due on completion, at which point the website will be transferred to you and your handover session arranged. If you require the build to take place within your existing live hosting environment, full payment is required upfront before work begins.

Revisions

Revisions are one single consolidated list of changes submitted at one time. Spelling errors and minor corrections will of course always be addressed. I am flexible and want you to be happy with the result, but changes that go beyond the scope of the originally agreed work — such as additional pages, new graphic elements, or structural changes not in the original brief — will be quoted separately.

Images and Copyright

Any images you supply must be owned by you or properly licensed for commercial use. You must be able to provide evidence of this on request.

Hosting and Domain

Where hosting and domain registration are required, I work with Stablepoint, a well-established hosting provider offering 24/7 technical support. Your contract for hosting and domain services is directly with Stablepoint and is entirely your responsibility. I am not party to that contract and accept no responsibility for any service issues, outages, or charges arising from it.

Business Decisions and Outcomes

Website design is a creative and technical service. I will build you the best possible website within the agreed scope, but I cannot guarantee any particular business outcome including search engine rankings, enquiry volumes, bookings, or revenue. All business decisions remain entirely your own.

Intellectual Property

The design, visual composition, custom graphic elements and build created by The Beautiful Website Company remain the intellectual property of Amanda Newell. All content supplied by you including text, images and brand assets remains your property throughout.

Discretion

I do not use client websites as portfolio or marketing material. Your website is yours and will not appear in my promotional materials without your explicit written permission.

Cancellation

If you cancel the project after work has commenced the deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs after significant work has been completed a further payment may be due proportionate to the work completed, which will be discussed and agreed with you fairly.
